“Teaching has always been my passion”

 Natalie has been dancing since she could walk and teaching dance for over 25 years. The passion she has for dance is evident and teaming her love of children with dance, - teaching was an obvious fit. “I have my dream job!”

Natalie holds a Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) as well as her Teachers Certificate and Full Teachers Diploma with the C.S.T.D. (Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing).

In addition, Natalie has a Performing Arts Diploma with Brent St School of Arts, Sydney and holds Acrobatic Arts Certification. (Module 1).

She has also completed Level 1 Teacher and practitioner training with Dance Physio Lisa Howell and completed Progressing Ballet Technique Certification with Marie Walton-Mahon.

She is regularly updating her skills and attending ongoing training as she believes this is crucial to being a good teacher.

Natalie is an Adjudicator and regularly travels interstate and overseas to adjudicate dance competitions and teach workshops.

She has performed and choreographed for many events – Highlights include Choreographing for Disney’s Carols In the Domain (Ch 7, Sydney), Rock Eisteddfods, Television Pilots, Night club Appearances, Back –up Dancer for Singer Nikki Bennett, Opening Ceremony for Sydney 2000 

Nicole Campbell


Nicole brings over 25 years of extensive dance knowledge and inspiration, including more than 15 years of teaching experience. Nicole studied Ballet, Tap and Jazz with the Australian Teachers of Dancing (A.T.O.D.) and Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) to an advanced level. She was the recipient of a dance scholarship and gained a Certificate IV of Art (Musical Theatre) in 2007 at the Australian Dance Performance Institute, which brought her to perform at the Sydney Opera House. In 2008 Nicole studied at another prestigious full-time dance college, ED5 International, working with some of the world’s most renowned dancers and choreographers. 

As a senior dance teacher, Nicole has trained hundreds of students for dance exams all with a 100% success rate, been a highly sort after performance coach, and a chief mentor to many trainee dance teachers. She is an Affiliate Teacher with the Australian Teachers of Dancing, an award-winning choreographer and creator of the extensive DanceXcel program at Broadbeach State School, QLD. Nicole opened and directed a successful dance studio of her own for many years with students winning numerous accolades. 


She has a genuine passion for teaching and thoroughly enjoys instilling that passion, promoting knowledge, fostering discipline, and developing fitness particularly in young people. She looks forward to taking your child on a positive, energetic and educational journey through dance!

Annabel Thompson

Annabel’s dance education and love for dance began at 3 years old studying Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Acrobatics. She has been assisting in both ballet and jazz classes since 2007 and teaching since 2015.  

Annabel has recently completed her Royal Academy of Dance. (RAD) Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies as well as studying Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Monash University.

She has a strong passion for ballet and teaching and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her students.

Jo-Anne Walters 


Jo-Anne is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and has successfully completed a Diploma of Arts - Classical Dance at the National Theatre Ballet School.


She has over 19 years of teaching experience at prominent dance schools throughout Melbourne in many genres including ballet, pointe, contemporary, lyrical and RAD examinations in both graded and vocational.


Jo-Anne is passionate about passing on the love for dance to the next generation, teaching students artistry and an appreciation of how their bodies move and work through a nuturing and positive learning environment.


Jo-Anne is also in the process of completing a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Myotherapy.

Ellie Colvin


Ellie trained as an all-rounded performer from an early age, beginning her study in Jazz, Tap, Ballet,

Theatrical, Voice, Irish, Lyrical, Cheer and Acrobatics from the age of five in her hometown of Wagga

Wagga in NSW. In 2008 she graduated from the Riverina Conservatorium of Music and in 2011 Ellie moved

to Sydney where she trained at ED5 International Performing Arts School under Elena de Cinque and

William Forsythe. During this time, she assisted with choreography (Leslie Bell, West Side Story), performed

in a number of events (AACTA awards, Arnott’s Premier Gala, BT4BC) and worked alongside some of the

biggest names in Australia’s music and theatre industry (Jessica Mauboy, Wayne Scott Kermond, Ian

Stenlake, Elena Clarke).

Ellie has taught dance since she began student teaching at her local dance school at 14 years old, teaching

at a variety of schools, from elite institutions to local recreational afternoon programs. 2020 will see Ellie

teaching for her sixth year in Melbourne, and her first at MAD studios – something she is very excited


Ellie is a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor and is passionate about using acrobatics as a way to enhance

dance art. She gets very happy seeing high back tucks and is allergic to aerials with bent legs. Ellie is also

Senior Level 2 First Aid certified, with WWCC.
